Albreda Lodge Remote Construction | Blue River, BC
Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing
Located in the heart of British Columbia’s backcountry, the Albreda Lodge project showcased MTN Side’s ability to deliver exceptional craftsmanship in a remote and demanding environment.
Working within the character of this historic property, our team completed custom log work, concrete decks, and one-of-a-kind heritage railings that were crafted and machined entirely on site to complement the lodge’s original architecture. Every detail was approached with care, balancing modern durability with the timeless character of the building.
Remote logistics, challenging site conditions, and limited access required thoughtful planning and problem-solving throughout the project. The result is a space that honours the lodge’s heritage while providing long-lasting, high-quality craftsmanship built to withstand its mountain environment.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Andrew Stokes and Mountain Side Builders for the last five years and on two different remote mountain resorts. Working in remote locations adds an element of complexity and challenge to even the most routine projects. Andrew and his team have been nothing short of amazing in their ability to meet these challenges, develop innovative solutions, and deliver a product above expectations and on time without exception. I would personally recommend Andrew and his team to anyone looking for a superior level of service and craftsmanship !” – Greg Griffin | Maintenance Manager | Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing
